It was a long hot day at Universal Studios today. We arrived at 8.30 and there were already hundreds of people queued for the opening at 9.30. When the gates did open it felt like a stampede, everyone pushing forward and then running for the rides. We soon found out why because very quickly the queue times were 60 mins plus. Fortunately we bought the express pass that gave us express entry to 4 rides - but only once per ride. I honestly could not have coped with those long queues. After lunch the queues were up to 120 mins. The best ride was Harry Potter & The Forbidden Journey, the graphics were amazing and we all loved it. We also went on Flight of the Hippogriff, Minion Mayhem, Spiderman, Jurassic Park and Snoopy Coaster, and we saw one show, Backdraft. Everything was in Japanese which was pretty weird 😄 We didn't stay for the night show and left at 4 because we couldn't cope with the crowds and it was so hot. And it's not even peak season! It was fun but I wouldn't do it again. I don't even want to go to Disneysea in Tokyo now because I'm dreading the crowds! After chilling in our apartment for awhile we then went out to Dontonbori for some dinner.
