Today we caught the bus 1.5hrs to the Shinhotaka Ropeway. It was a windy road through the mountains and poor Charlie vomited...2 minutes before reaching our final destination! 🤢 Thankfully we had our luggage with us so we were able to change his clothes. We threw out his stinky clothes and then stored out luggage in lockers and took the double decker gondola up the mountain. The top station had an altitude of about 2,100 metres and it was beautiful sunny day 🌞 We had hoped to do a walk at the top but there were signs (which we had to translate to English) saying not to proceed without proper hiking gear and the track looked pretty rough so we didn't do it. The boys instead found a little patch of snow and threw snow balls at eachother. We then caught the gondola down and caught a bus to Toyama which was a boring 2.5hrs. We arrived in Toyama at 4pm, checked in, bought tickets for tomorrow's journey to the mountains, bought supplies for tomorrow and had sushi and beer in our room 😊
