We set off on the walking trail this morning, got a bit lost but still saw lots of temples and beautiful views. The boys turn into sloths when they hear we are going for a walk but the bribe of an ice cream gets them moving 😁 After the walk we meandered through the old streets eating yummy food and then caught a bus to Hida Village which is a little village housing some of the oldest buildings from the area. They had demonstrations, craft, fish feeding and games that kept the boys entertained for awhile. By mid afternoon we ended back up in the old streets and in a sake (rice wine) brewery drinking samples. There were 10 samples to try and they were about 18% so needless to say we had to go back to the hotel for a rest after that 😉
